The journey began departing from Venice, Italy, arriving to Istanbul, Turkey, a city in that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait. We witness amazing sites like the iconic Byzantine Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque and Basilica Cistern. The food was delicious and the shopping to died for...I would come back one day but with lots of money to buy all kind of leather items and Persian lamps... :)

Next stop Athens, Greece, we got real late the day. When we arrived at the hotel and were checking in, the lady at the front desk told us that the hotel restaurant was at the terrace level and that even she knew we were tired we should check out because the view of Acropolis was beautiful...we listen and went up to the terrace...what a view, it was breath taken..
Athens is the capitol and largest city of Greece, and one of the oldest cities in the world. Classical Athens was a powerful city-state, a center for arts, learning and philosophy. Sometime historians referred to Athens as the cradle of Western civilization and the birthplace of democracy. Today Athens is a large cosmopolitan metropolis and central to economic, financial, industrial, maritime, political and cultural life in Greece.

We had scheduled a visit to the famous Greek Island, Santorin...I barely slept that night as this was one of my dream places to go... we arrived early that morning...and had the opportunity to see the sunrise...
